Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and stay at our ReZen.Villas holiday rental in Lorca, Murcia, Spain. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly

A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date or 60 days during peak season

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer

All prices are quoted in sterling and include IVA (Impuesto sobre el Valor Añadido (VAT))

What is your cancellation policy?

To ensure a fair experience for all guests, please familiarise yourself with our cancellation policy before booking your relaxing escape at ReZen.Villas.

Please note: This policy is subject to change. We recommend checking the specific terms during the booking process.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. In the case of a serious emergency, such as a funeral or illness, please communicate with us as soon as possible. We are here to help and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

We will do our best to re-book your cancelled dates. If we are successful in finding a replacement guest, you will receive a full refund if the vacancy is filled at the original rate minus a €50 processing fee associated with the re-booking.

Occupancy and Guests

The maximum occupancy of guests at the property is 10 people. Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the property. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who arrives with an unregistered person or exceeds the maximum occupancy. Guests are responsible for the behaviour of all members of their party

Property Usage and Care

Do you allow pets?

While we love furry friends, ReZen.Villas is currently unable to accommodate pets.

This is because we have a resident dog, Fred, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with a playful personality. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, particularly those with allergies, Fred is not allowed inside the guest apartments.

Fred is very friendly and loves attention, but we kindly ask that guests refrain from feeding him as he has specific dietary needs and is on a raw food diet. He also generally avoids the pool area to prioritize guest comfort, although you might occasionally see him trotting through with Pete and Mark, as they go about their duties.

Are there any additional fees, such as cleaning or tourist tax?

The nightly rate at ReZen.Villas is inclusive of cleaning fees and any applicable tourist taxes.

We do offer some optional meal services and beverage options for your convenience:

Drinks: We also offer a selection of beverages for purchase, with prices typically ranging from €2 for beers, spirits & mixers, to selections of wine by the glass.

Please note that these meals and drinks are optional, and you are welcome to explore the many restaurants and cafes a short drive away if you prefer. We recommend checking the availability of meals during your stay, as they are offered occasionally.

What if there's accidental damage to Property?

Guests are financially responsible for any damage to the property or its contents that occurs during their stay, beyond normal wear and tear.  The cost of repairs or replacements for damages will be settled upon check-out.

We recommend taking pictures of the property upon arrival, with timestamps, to document any pre-existing damage.

Disclaimer of Injury

ReZen.Villas strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. However, we cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained on the property. Guests are encouraged to use caution and common sense while using the amenities and exploring the surroundings.

Pool & Sauna Use

Pool Safety: ReZen Villas offers a refreshing pool for guests to enjoy.  For the safety of everyone, please be aware of the following:

Sauna Disclaimer: ReZen Villas also offers a sauna for guest relaxation. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, there are separate sauna rules posted on the entrance wall. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with these rules before using the sauna. ReZen Villas assumes no responsibility for any injuries sustained while using the sauna.

Items Lost or Misplaced

Reporting Lost Property: Guests are required to report any lost items to the property owner as soon as they become aware of the loss. Please provide a detailed description of the item and the approximate location/date where it was lost. You can report lost property by visiting the contact page on our website, ReZen.Villas.

Searching for Lost Property: We will make reasonable efforts to locate and retrieve reported lost items within the rental property. Please note, we cannot guarantee that all items will be found.

Storage of Lost Property: Found items will be stored securely for a period of up to 30 days from the date they are reported. We will attempt to contact guests regarding found belongings. If contact cannot be established within the 30-day period, unclaimed items may be donated to charity or disposed of.

Retrieval of Lost Property – Shipping Costs: Guests are responsible for all costs associated with shipping lost items. This includes postage, packaging materials, labour and any relevant taxes or customs duties. Items will be shipped only after full payment of shipping costs has been received. We will provide a shipping quote upon request, and will ship items using a trackable method, but cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

High-Value Item Procedures: Any items reported lost with an estimated value exceeding £500 will be categorised as high-value items. High-value items will be held in secure storage for a maximum of 14 days. We will make increased efforts to contact the owner, but unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after this period. To retrieve a high-value item, the owner must provide valid photo identification and sufficient proof of ownership. This may include detailed descriptions of the item, purchase receipts, or relevant police reports.

Liability: We are not responsible for any items lost or misplaced during a guest's stay. We strongly encourage guests to take measures to secure their belongings and to purchase appropriate travel insurance if they wish to be covered for loss.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions before booking your stay.
